Tokyo Speaks is a podcast based out of Tokyo Japan hosted and produced by Cliff. Tokyo Speaks focuses on sharing the stories of people living and working in Japan, especially women, foreigners, and minorities and discussing the challenges they face.
During the discovery phase of the project, Cliff expressed the desire for a very clean and minimal design for his web presence that highlighted his podcast logo throughout for strong brand continuity.
The site features a homepage with a grid to pull in his podcast episodes, social links, an about page, media page, contact form, and a resources directory page.
Additionally, the framework for WooCommerce has been configured and designed to allow for Tokyo Speaks to delve into the world of branded Merchandise when they are ready.
The underpinnings of the site feature connections to Tokyo Speak’s podbean account to allow for auto-publishing of new episodes to WordPress, the latest in SEO best practices, and security measures to ensure secure user experience.
